Who is Piscean Dream?
Piscean Dream is a one man band fronted by Ohio native Adam McClure. A small sampling of the musical influences of Piscean Dream are: The Dave Matthews Band, Jack Johnson, Seether, Nirvana, Alice In Chains, Audioslave, Neil Young, The Foo Fighters, Nine Inch Nails, Soundgarden, Rage Against the Machine, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Pearl Jam, Stone Temple Pilots, R.E.M., Disturbed, Arcade Fire, Metallica, Live, Aerosmith, Everclear, The Smashing Pumpkins, and countless others.
If asked the question, "Who do I sound like?" I respond with, "I like to think that I sound like nobody and everybody at the same time." My music seems to be acoustic guitar driven with a hard rock edge to it (my music would sound good played electric also). I've always gravitated to acoustic music and I always go back to it. Some of my favorite albums of all time are Alice In Chains "Unplugged", Seether "One Cold Night", almost all of Dave Matthews albums, and Jack Johnson's albums. My music is basically a melting pot of acoustic hard rock, a small smattering of electronica (think NIN), occasional stabs of electric guitar, and good old fashioned noise.
